Display

Motorola Moto G features a 4.5 inch IPS LCD touch screen display with a 720 × 1280 pixels resolution. In comparison, Moto E has a slightly smaller 4.3 inch LCD display that renders a lower resolution of only 540 × 960 pixels. Both the devices will feature the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Internal Specifications

The Moto G is powered by a 1.2 GHz, Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with Adreno 305 GPU and it is the same in its successor as it has the same clocking speed but it is a Dual Core variant with Snapdragon 200 chipset coupled with Adreno 302 GPU. Both the devices have 1 GB of RAM and will run Android 4.4 KitKat Operating System.

Camera / Storage

Both the devices have a 5 MP shooter at the rear and the Moto G has a 1.3 MP front camera but you won’t have a front facing camera on the Moto E. The Moto G is available for purchase in 8 GB and 16 GB options and it lacks a microSD slot, where as the Moto E comes with 4 GB of internal memory that can be expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Moto G is available now for Rs. 12499 via flipkart.com where as Moto E is listed for Rs. 6999 but showing as coming soon. Both the devices are powerful enough for their price range, so people considering the budget can opt for Moto E easily or else can go for Moto G if price is not a factor to be considered.
