adb push bootstrap-1.0.0.5-droid2.apk /system/app/

    I’ve tried installing both the Droid X and the Droid 2 Bootstrap APK using just the phone, but to no avail. The phone immediately goes to the splash screen as soon as Superuser allows it to access root.

    Does the “install through ADB” method prove to be any more effective than installing the APK on the phone and running it?

  3. Help!! I just tried to update my droid x with a custom rom cyanogen 7.1. After following the instructions and rebooting the phone now the phone is blinking the motorola m logo over and over… I returned to the boot loader and all that says now is battery ok ok to program connect usb data cable. any ideas would really help. thanks
