Hi, Just wondering if anyone has had an OTA update to 2.3 Gingerbread for a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. I have tried updating it using on line instructions but ended up completely wiping my tablet, to the point that I had to get a replacement unit (fortunately it was still under warranty and my retailer exchanged without any issue’s). Given this I am not going to risk updating the new unit again myself.

I have an HTC Desire HD and got the update OTA,no problems and very happy with the changes, so would be very keen on getting an update for my tablet. For information purposes, I am using my tab with a 3 sim card although the tab was purchased without a sim/contact so is not reliant on any carrier delays etc..

Any information or updates would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Philip
