Motorola releases its new stock Gallery app to the Google Play Store with new features like larger thumbnails while viewing the photos, faster navigation with new design. Motorola has taken to the Google Play Store to distribute updates to its stock apps that appeared on the Moto X, Moto G and the newest Android devices.
Earlier Motorola used the Play Store to distribute its updates of the stock apps that included the camera, Assist and Touchless Control. With the new Gallery app the devices will be getting the newer White UI (User Interface) that was mostly black theme. This new app will feature a slide out navigation panel instead of the dropdown list, letting the users to shift between camera roll, timeline and album view.
This also hides the status bar from view and the navigation bar stays out (removed some of the view options) including Photos, Timeline and albums. This Gallery app also includes Locations and Tags, giving the feel somewhat similar to the Google+ Photo app that is installed on the phones, but it won’t provide any cloud backup! Earlier the users got only the share option on the photo but now it includes the Edit and Delete options also making it easier for the users.
Unfortunately this app won’t be available for other older version of Motorola devices, the app looks quite good with the new whiter UI and we also know that Google is planning to replace the stock Android gallery app with Google+ Photos. So let’s see till when this update would last as Motorola is also from the Google division.
The application is available in the Google Play store now, but only for the users of Moto G, 2013 Android devices or Moto X running on KitKat OS. So what are you waiting for?
