Most of the Motorola Mobility powered smart phones are the low end entry level smart phones and we have spotted few in the recent past. One among them is the Motorola XT 626 which is headed for the launch in South Korea.
SouthernLINC, the regional service provider in South Korea has announced the availability of Motorola XT 626 smart phone with interesting call, voice and text offers to the consumers. This device was launched previously in South Korea as Double V with dual mode iDEN and 3G supports but couldn’t get much success and it’s relaunched with re branding from the one of the low cost provider in the country.
Going through the specifications as obtained by tips, it has 4.3 inches capacitive touchscreen display and features 8 mega pixel camera on the rear side. It will be powered with 1.2 GHz single core processor and it will board Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system on board. The plan for the Ice Cream Sandwich or the Jelly Bean looks very uncertain. Furthermore it will feature all those specifications found in a general Android smart phone with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and options like Wi Fi, Wi Fi tether, micro USB, micro HDMI port, FM Radio and mini USB. It includes Bleutootn 2.1+EDR , 4GB of memory and PTT or Push To Talk functions.
Additionally we forgot to mention that it will have the option of front facing camera which allows users to go through the face to face video chat and video calls as well. As powered with Google Android 2.3 it will include pre-installed Google apps like GMail, Google Maps, Google Drive, Google Navigation and Google Play Store. Via the Google Play Store users can install many other free apps and paid as well.
As of now there is no word been said on the availability of this handset but it will be certainly priced a $ 70.
