Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL), a service that operates its telecom under the MTS brand has launched the MTS Blaze 5.0 and it is included in the Blaze series. The device will come with 4.5 inch display and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System. MTS (Mobile TeleSystems) provides broadband internet, messaging, and Wireless voice in India and it is also a subsidiary of the Russian conglomerate Sistema.
The MTS Blaze 5.0 will flaunt a 5 inch touch screen IPS display with 854 x 480 pixels resolutions and will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating system out of the box. Moreover the device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and is also a dual SIM variant that supports one CDMA and one GSM SIM. At the back of the device there is a 2500 mAh battery to power the handset.
The MTS Blaze 5.0 has an 8 MP auto focus rear facing camera with LED flash and it is accompanied with a VGA camera on the front for video calls. The on-board memory of the device is at 4 GB that can be extended up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. The connectivity options include, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS. There is usual 3.5 mm audio jack along with FM radio.
The company will be offering 100000 MB of data that is valid for one year on the first recharge of Rs. 198 in all its circle that include Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, UP West, West Bengal and Kolkata. The device also comes with many applications like Live TV, integrated music player, on-call support, Piano lock and much more. The Chief Marketing & Sales Officers – MTS India said that the Qualcomm S4 quad core processor has been exclusively designed to cater the Internet Generation.
The device will be coming in White color variant and is priced at Rs. 10,999 in India. This device has been listed online but it has not been announced.
