How to Multitask with Dual Window Feature in LG G Pro 2

Multitasking is usually possible in most of the Android smartphones these days, but there’s just one way to do it – pull out the list of recently opened apps and currently running ones, and select any one to run. But with the Dual Window feature that is available in the LG G Pro 2, the multitasking is taken to the next level. Although it is not the only device having this feature of using two windows at the same time on the same screen, the feature coming included is already good for the users of the LG G Pro 2.

Multi Window / Dual Window feature in the LG G Pro 2 needs to be first activated before you are able to use it. To activate it, you need to go to Settings > General > Multitasking and here, the second option “Dual Window” has to be checked.

To then open the Multi Window feature, you just need to tap and hold the “Back” button in the bottom, and it would open a center tray of app icons which can be opened in the Multi window. Not all the apps which are installed, are available for using in the Multi Window. You just need to tap or drag the app icon to top or bottom to open it and occupy the half of the screen initially. Then, select another app icon and it would take the second half of the screen.

You are free to increase or decrease the size of the application window and the size of the other window changes based on it. This is pretty handy when you are trying to use two apps such as Youtube and Memo at the same time, trying to write down things from a Youtube video.

The Multi Window feature would remember what were the apps you used recently while using this feature, and you can use the same combination by tapping on “Recent” which is first on the list.
