Did we say 1 Million? we were right. But it wasn’t pre-orders after all. It was the pre-registrations done by the users who do not make a final list of the buyers who pre-ordered it. Apparently, JD.com had put up a promotion where they allowed the users to pre-order a product without paying anything initially. That doesn’t mean every person who registered there would be buying the device. And to add to this, there was a contest where the site was luring people into entering their details and get a chance to win the Nokia X for free. So that’s where the number rose to a million.

Nokia X has hit 1 Million pre-orders in China just in 4 days. The company has announced on Weibo that the Chinese e-retailer JD.com that was taking the pre orders in the country and we can expect this number to increase rapidly as the Nokia X is going to be released in China on 25thof this month.
Earlier Nokia X was released in several countries such as the Philippines, India, and Malaysia it is still going to be released in China. The Nokia X was unveiled at the MWC 2014 even that was recently held along with its Nokia X+ and Nokia XL. These are the initial batch that of Smart Phones from Nokia that will be running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it will also retain many of the Microsoft’s services like HERE Maps, Nokia Music, Outlook, Skype and 10GB of cloud storage free from Microsoft’s OneDrive offered through a Nokia store. More over Noxia X won’t give you access to the Google Play store.
Just in case if you have missed the specification of the device, Nokia X features a 4 inch LCD display with 480 by 800 pixel resolution, powered by a dual core 1 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM. There is a 3 MP camera on the rear, that lacks, flash and the front camera is also absent. The onboard storage of the device is at 4 GB that can be extended via micro SD card slot. To power the Nokia X there is a 1500 mAH battery on the back of the device.
