Nokia X71 Unveiled with 6.4” Punch-hole Display & Triple Rear Cameras

Nokia X71 has been in leaks from few days and now the device has been unveiled by HMD Global today in Taiwan along with Nokia 9 PureView. This is going to be the first X series device which is going to come out of China and nothing is known about the global rollout yet. The handset will be coming with a punch-hole design with an in-display selfie camera design. It also comes with a mirror finish glass back along with a metallic frame giving an elegant look.

The device has been priced at TWD 11,990 (approx USD USD 389) and will be going for sale starting from April 30th. Well, coming to the specifications of the handset, the device will be sporting a 6.4-inch punch-hole display with Full HD+ resolution and 93% screen-to-body ratio and under the hood, there is a 14nm Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 512 GPU.

Furthermore, it will be featuring a triple camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture size, there is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 120-degree FoV and a 5MP depth sensor. For selfies, Nokia has provided a 16MP sensor for providing high-quality selfies. It will come out of the box with the latest Android 9.0 Pie Operating system under the Android One programme so it would also be getting further updates when available.

As per the connectivity options, it includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C port. There is also a 3,500mAh battery to power the handset and also supports 18W fast charging technology. Along with the X71, Nokia also launched its flagship device Nokia 9 PureView in Taiwan. The flagship devices come with a 5.99-inch. QHO+ pOLED PureDisplay and is powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor on the handset is powered by a 3320 mAh battery.

The main selling point of the Nokia 9 PureView is its five-camera setup on the rear that features 12MP sensors with Carl Zeiss optics. It also comes with Lux Capacitor image processing chipset and multi-lens L16 camera tech which lets five cameras to capture more light. Well, are you going to get the new Nokia X71 Smartphone?
