Oculus Announced Standalone Go VR Headset For $199

Oculus has today announced its standalone VR headset during the company’s fourth developer conference, which is named as Oculus Go. It is priced $199, which would start shipments early 2018. It is the first and proper standalone VR headset from the company which does not require a need to be paired with a computer, which means it would directly access the VR content via Oculus ecosystem. It has sitten between mobile Gear VR which is priced at around $129, and high-end Oculus Rift has offered cost of $499.

It is designed with breathable fabrics, which is comfortable and fully adjustable. It can even be used with glasses and has 3D immersion with crystal-clear optics and integrated spatial audio, which would together bring your virtual world to life. The Oculus Go VR headset comes with its controllers like draw constellations in the night sky, cast fishing line with precision, capture enemies in a multi-player standoff and more. As of now, the company hasn’t provided the exactly when it would be available this product and would be available to buy in 2018.
