Oppo’s VP Yiren Shen has confirmed that the upcoming Oppo Reno device will be featuring different cooling technologies on the two different variants. Shen has posted on the Weibo account that the lower Snapdragon 710 variant will be using heat-conduction gel and graphite sheet for heat dissipation whereas the top model with Snapdragon 855 SoC will be featuring a copper tube liquid cooling heat sink.
The model with the Snapdragon 710 processor could be called as Oppo Reno Lite that was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification with the model number CPH1917. The certification website also revealed that the lite variant will be featuring a 6.4-inch display giving full HD+ resolutions and will be coming with 48MP primary camera sensor along with 5MP dual cameras along with a 16MP selfie sensor.
On the other hand, the high-end Snapdragon 855 variant will be coming with 6.65-inch Full HD+ display giving a screen-to-body-ratio of 93.1 percent. Even this device will be coming with a 48MP main camera alongside two additional sensors (8MP+13MP) and the same selfie shooter with a 16MP sensor on the front. It will also come with new 10x lossless zoom technology. There will also be a 5G Edition of this upcoming Reno phone which comes with the similar specs sheet as the 4G LTE variant except for the additional X50 5G modem.
Furthermore, it will also be coming with a 4065mAh battery on the rear with VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology and will be available in Pink, Sea Green, Nebula Purple, and Midnight Black color options. It will be interesting to see how Oppo will be pricing these variants when they will be unveiled on April 10. Samsung is also hosting a launch event on the same day to unveil its A-series devices.
