Dutch technology company Philips launched a new smartphone S653H in China. It is priced at 1999 Yuan and available in Platinum Gold light and Rose Gold colors.It comes with metal body with arc frame and Phi texture design which gives it a nice grip. The smartphone is 6.95mm thick, and by looking at photos, it looks good as well. The audio port is placed on top.
Talking about the specifications of the smartphone, it comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display along with 1920*1080 pixel resolution. The screen sports 401 PPI pixel density and supports multi-touch. The dimension of the smartphone is 153.5 x 74.3 x 6.95 mm and weighs around 150 grams. The screen is 2.5D curved.
The smartphone powered by a 2.0GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor along with Mali 400 GPU. There is 3GB RAM on board along with 32GB internal storage. There is up to 128GB memory card support. It comes with Li-ion 2550 mAh battery.
It runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box. There is a 16-megapixel rear camera with Samsung ISOCELL CMOS sensor and dual color temperature flash. The rear camera can record up to 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. There is a 13-megapixel front camera as well for a selfie with Sony IMX258 sensor.
The smartphone also has a fingerprint scanner on board. It is a dual SIM smartphone and supports 4G LTE network. And other connectivity options are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, NFC and micro USB type-C.
