Oppo is getting ready to launch a new mid-range device in the market and called Oppo K3, the device will be launched on 23rd of May. This smartphone will be included in the K series and the company has also revealed the specs of the upcoming device. According to earlier rumors, the Oppo K3 smartphone will be equipped with a pop-up selfie camera with a notch-less display. Considering the specs of the device it is the same Realme X smartphone which has been rebranded.
Well, talking about the specification of the Oppo K3, it will be coming with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution along with DC dimming feature. The handset gives a 91.1 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform featuring Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 616 GPU coupled with 8 GB of RAM memory. The onboard storage of the device is 128GB which can be extended further via microSD card slot.
The device has LPDDR4X RAM and UFS2.1 flash storage and to unlock the smartphone there is an in-display fingerprint sensor. Out of the box, it will be coming with Android 9 Pie operating system with Colour0S on top while it should be coming with features like Game Boost 2.0, Frame Boost, Touch Boost, and Link Boost. Talking about the pop-up selfie camera, it has a 16MP sensor that pop-up in just 0.74 seconds.
On the front, there is a 48MP main camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture while it is accompanied with a 5MP depth-sensing camera. The device will be coming with the support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology offering 20W output. Connectivity option includes 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C charging port, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, A-GPS, WiFi and also the AI features to enhance the camera experience.
The upcoming Oppo K3 will be priced at CNY 1499 (approx USD 220) for the base model and CNY 1899 for Onion and Garlic editions of the Realme X Naoto Fukasawa. Are you planning to get this device?
