if anyone has problem about disappearing cwm after rebooting , this is normal

remount /system in read/write mode (use something like the Root Explorer app or ES File Explorer; both have root modes (check the app’s settings) for remounting /system as writable)

    rename the /system/recovery-from-boot.p to /system/recovery-from-boot.p-bak

and re flash cwm , and u have permanent cwm on your beautiful G nexus .

It says unlocked bootloader but when i installed ROM Manager it says i need to root the phone first. I am not sure how do I root. Does rooting depends on type of ROM or its just device specific. Thanks!!

This update is only for Verizon CDMA model, don’t apply this to any other Galaxy Nexus, you may brick your phone.

Hi! With so many Nexuses about, what model numbers is it safe to apply this to? Mine is a Gaxy Nexus from Samsung, with a model no. of I9250, but the official update, which came out last week in Australia, is only 4.02.
So I’m confused. Can you clarify this? Many thanks.
