What is Rooting?
Rooting is basically a process wherein the system level files are provided by the access by the third party apps or tools so that appropriate customization can be made. Also, rooting allows you to install the custom ROMs and also allows you to customize many things.

So, first let’s check out on what are the quick list of pre Requisites to be followed and then followed by the procedure to root the Reliance 3G Tab.

Quick List of Pre Requisites:

  • Before proceeding you need to ensure that all the data which is there in your phone is backed up so that all the data which is there in your device is safe as in the process of rooting, the data may get corrupted or get lost. With the help of below mentioned tips you can easily create a backup and restore the same.

Notes – Backup in the mail so that you can then restore manually
SMS Messages – Use “SMS Backup & Restore app”,
Contacts Stored in Phone Memory – Sync with the Gmail application,
Call Log – Call Log and Restore
Videos, Images, Videos & Files etc.– Copy to internal / External SD Card,
Internet & MMS Settings – Backup all the settings from “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names

  • After this, ensure that the device is left with a minimum of 60% of battery charge so as to ensure that it doesn’t get turned Off in the rooting process.
  • Enable the USB Debugging from the path of “Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging”. Also, just for you record note down the firmware version on which you are on, you can get the firmware version details from the path “Settings > About Phone > Firmware Version”.
  • Close all the tools like the tools like Antivirus, Firewall and PC Suite in your computer as these tools generally interrupt the process of the rooting.

I tried to download the Reliance 3G Rooting Zip Package but found that the application has been removed from the site. Kindly advise by email how can I obtain the same. Minus the required software the whole article is useless. If you can’t do it then remove the entire data from your website. It spoils your reputation.
