How to Root Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100 on Android 2.3.4 XXKG1 Firmware

Please note that if you proceed ahead to root your phone then you will lose the warranty straightaway as it has an in built recording capability on how many times you have actually rooted your phone as a complete log is stored in your phone which when you take your phone to a service center can find out on what are all the things you have done with your phone.

    I have samsung galaxy SII GT-i9100, Dude my phone shows andriod version 2.3.4 base band version i9100XXKl1 gingerbread .XWKl4 is G1 and L1 diffrent because i updated my cell officially and there are no updateds so is it ok to root or there would be another article coming bcause i couldnt seem to find one for my firmware version…. Another thing i cant download rooting kit when i click the link it says page not found..

      this is the manual update, you need to apply this manually!

    Hey, i recently rooted my sgs2, but for some reason i need to turn in my phone for warranty. Is there a simple step-by-step guide out there to unroot this phone?

    Unrooting will show that the rom has never been flashed before right?

    hi…just got my SGS2 carrying model GT-I9100T android version 2.3.3…i wanted to upgrade in 2.3.4 version but some article said don’t try to root ur phone if ur not GT-i9100 holder…don’t u think this risky to root to 2.3.4?

    Hi, just downloaded the root files packege, unzipped it, run Odin3 v1.85 and i get an Odin3.ini error…i’m wondering if i can just use the Odin3 v 1.83 that comes with the firmware update released a while back, as that works fine…..?
