How To Root Samsung Galaxy SL I9003 On Gingerbread JPKP5 2.3.4 Firmware

  10. I’ve updated my Galaxy SL to latest Gingerbread version JPKP5 . But noticed that whenever screen is in stand by or off the GPRS data services do not work. But as soon as screen is unlocked the data services resme working fine. Please check if this is a bug or if only I am facing this issue!

  20. First of all thank you,

    i was following your steps perfectly until this step “press volume UP key and OK button along with the Power button simultaneously”, i did as such but my phone turned on without going into recovery mode, i tried it again but it still did not work.

    Did the rooting work properly? i have the super user, tweaks and CWM applications. (what do they do btw)?

        I did this tho be able to bypass my university proxy using proxydroid application.
        Unfortunately superuser and proxydroid application asked me to update them, after i did so i couldnt bypass my university proxy anymore. Why is that? is it from the superuser update or the proxydroid update?
        In case in superuser update how can i get back to the previous version? Do i unroot the root it again with the file you gave us?

    • In the process of rooting some cache files will generate to damage some applications on the phone. In order to avoid such damage you need to do this and Of course! its an optional.
