My Samsung Galaxy Tab P7500 has also blacked out. It doesn’t want to switch on at all. Charged the battery overnight and still no luck. How can I get it reset or fixed? I only had it for about a week now.

Likewise, this mod is not for the actual product sold. If you read the article they keep referring to some “phone” as we know this is a Tablet, not a phone. I would agree with a post about this being a copy paste job.

adb is in your program files\Android folder another failure for this article. So many failures it seems this could have been just copied. If this was in deed tested, they failed.

Trying to root a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tablet (purchased at Best Buy). Finally got ADB to work and push works as described. However, reboot recovery does not work. I can manually boot into recovery mode but when I select “apply update from /sdcard” in red I see the message in red “unknown volume for path [/sdcard]”. There is nothing listed under “choose a package to install /sdcard”.

Any suggestions? I get the impression that people are copy & pasting the instructions but have not actually performed the mod on a commercial 10.1 tab.

I cannot get my tab to see the zip file after reboot. Is this only good for the I/O release. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tried the Z4Root as well and nothing
