Xperia ARC S smartphone users who have managed to upgrade their device with the latest ICS Android 4.0.4 firmware can now root their device with the help of simple instructions which we will be discussing in the further course of this article. Just in case if you wished to know on what you can do by rooting the device, then we wanted to tell you that once you root the device, you can install several custom ROM firmwares along with the apps which need the rooting access. Also, be informed that this procedure should only be applied to the devices which are having the model name as SONY Xperia ARC S

Express Pre Requisites:

SMS – Use “SMS Backup & Restore app”,
Contacts – Sync with the Gmail application,
Call Log –Call Log and Restore
Images, Songs, Videos, Files – Copy to internal / External SD Card,
APN and MMS Settings – Note down from the path “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names”
