Life Times – Now this is something new that is going to come in the future smartphones from Samsung. We did see an app called Samsung Story Album which could have done something similar but Life Times is something cool, with newer features and a very different looking interface. SamMobile did some testing of the app and they were able to share the screenshots of the Life Times app, which does look quite neat, and there are options shown for collecting data from various apps.
The Samsung Life Times looks like a diary application, where the app itself collect all the information from the various applications and events, and finally a log is created for the users to view what all was done in the recent past. For a very normal user, this won’t be very much useful but it could be handy for those who are on vacation, or have captured photos at an event, because Life Times would collect those photos and show them off based on the time and location.
Life Times would collect the data from sources like call logs, messages, Gallery photos and from the social network apps like Facebook, Google+, Foursquare, Instagram or LinkedIn. A few features were quite similar to that of the Samsung’s Story Album, but this is certainly a lot better than that and could become the ultimate replacement for that app in the upcoming smartphones, and could start showing itself off in the Samsung Galaxy S5. Samsung is following all the rules for design, set by Google for the Android KitKat OS.
These screenshots were from the firmware which is made for the Samsung smartphone, modeled SM-G900H, but whether that is the Galaxy S5, is yet to be confirmed. We’ll let you know if we find any more details about the app, and whether that model number is for the Galaxy S5 or not.
