Samsung Epic 4G Touch on Sprint gets D710.10S.FH13 Software Update

Sprint Wireless has rolled out a minor update to the Samsung Epic 4G Touch Android smart phone which is available for download via over the air update. Epic 4G Touch on the Sprint network has already been update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The device carries an software built number as D710.10S.FH13 and this is said to bring the battery life enhancements. Since the battery life is the major thing which we are worried about on our devices since each smart phone can with stand battery life of average one day and if extended, for three days maximum.

Sprint has notified Epic 4G Touch users about this update by sending the notifications. For those who have received this update notification on their mobile phone, then can simply follow the on screen instructions to apply the updates on to their phone.

Alternatively one can easily check for the update available on their mobile phone by going through the Menu > Settings > About Phone > Software update and then tap on Check Now to check for the updates. Once you get response from the Samsung servers, tap on Download and once download, click on Install to apply the updates. It will take not more than 15 minutes to apply the updates and your phone will be restarted once everything is done.

    I installed this update when it first came out, I had problems with my screen some of my apps that came with the phone and dropped calls like a greased pig, Sprint ended up trading me for a new phone over the weekend and I keep get a message about this update, I have done had my fill with this update take it back or at least tell me how I can permanatly cancel the update!!!!!!!!!!!! Sincerely one upset cusotmer!!!

    Did this update fix any software bugs? Like the problem with the tap touch buttons that caused the settings menus to popup randomly?
