The South Korean Giant, Samsung has upgraded its Samsung Galaxy Core series with the introduction of the Galaxy Core Mini 4G (SM-G3568V) that has been officially unveiled at China. This device has been included in its Galaxy Core series which will be a mid range device that is targeted towards mid range customers. Samsung has the habit of releasing many versions of the same Smart phone and this is another proof of it.
The Samsung Galaxy Core Mini 4G Core will be featuring a 4.3 inch touch screen display and will be having resolutions of 400 x 800 pixels and will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, which should be good news as Samsung doesn’t have a low end devices that runs Android KitKat unlike many other devices.
The Galaxy Core Mini 4G will be powered by an unknown quad core processor that will be clocking at 1.2 GHz and it is accompanied with 1.5 GB of RAM. The on-board memory of the device is at 8 GB that can be expanded via microSD card slot.
Coming to the camera, the Galaxy Core Mini 4G has a 5 MP sensor at the rear and there is no front facing camera that will be a little disappointing as many of us use it for Skype calls and other video calls apart from taking selfies. The battery powering the device has not been mentioned by the company.
The Galaxy Core Mini 4G has the dimensions of 127.8 mm x 66.2 mm x 10.6 mm and weights 136 grams. We are not sure if this device will be seeing light outside the Chinese market but if you want to get one you can do it via China mobile. The pricing of the device is not yet mentioned and will be available in White color variant. According to its specs this device will be a competitor to the Moto E and the Iris X1 which also have similar specifications.
