Google Nexus Prime will be now called as Samsung Galaxy Nexus and it would be available with Verizon Wireless in United States launching on October 19, 2011. On the other side T-Mobile has confirmed it will launch its upcoming HTC Amaze 4G phone with power packed specifications.
There is no end of the latest, most powerful and most advanced technology phone which provides faster operations on the go. For atleast now if you are waiting for the upcoming smartphone, the Nexus Prime is one of the prime contenders as a powerful phone. On the other side HTC is also not throwing it down and they have HTC Amaze in competition with Samsung Galaxy Nexus. We also have HTC Vigor, Motorola Droid Bionic and Samsung Galaxy S II in the race of top phone just in Android category only. On the other side Apple iPhone 4S has posted a world record sale on Day 1 and its going stronger.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus and HTC Amaze will be launched in United States first and worldwide launch is not yet confirmed. When both the phones are made available it would be a competition in network providers as well. Samsung Galaxy Nexus would be available on Verizon Wireless and HTC Amaze would be available on T-Mobiles.

The HTC Amaze will have 4.3 inches qHD capacitive touchscreen display but the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is much talked about its 4.6 inches larger screen display and for Super AMOLED Plus display screen. Choice remains on the hands of users whether they want to go 4.3 inches or 4.6 inches.

As always HTC takes pride in providing a better camera on phone, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has well enough 5 mega pixel camera. The HTC Amaze has impressive 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash provide 1080p HD video recording. Both the phone have front facing VGA camera which can be used for video calls and webcam.
The HTC Amaze will includes 16 GB internal memory along with a microSD card slot providing storage up to 32 GB in size using memory card. Samsung Galaxy Nexus hasn’t released any memory specifications of their mobile phone.
Network & Speed
Both the handsets will offer 4G supports via 4G LTE technology and HSPA+ connectivity. So narrowly it would be the competition of T-Mobiles vs Verizon in terms of network speed and data download speed that they provide. Again its hard to say which phone is better in terms of network because provider changes for each one.
Like all other Samsung mobile phones, Samsung Galaxy Nexus would be very slim just like the Galaxy S2 phone. Samsung will keep it simple with just the Android OS interface and not to go with TouchWiz interface. On the other side HTC Amaze will introduce HTC Sense 3.5 user interface on it.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus comes with 1750 mAh batter which provides 8 hours of battery life on 3G usage and HTC Amaze too will have 1730 mAh battery with 6 hours of talk time and 264 hours of standby time.
The Amaze 4G would be available at price of $ 259.99 with a two years contract with T-Mobile and its available right now. Google hasn’t announced the price of its new phone.
We are here looking at two of the most advanced phones in the world. The HTC Amaze amazes us as it contains equal specifications as that of Samsung Galaxy Nexus but lacks few critical features like Super AMOLED display and Ice Cream Sandwich. Still HTC Amaze makes up as a high hardware packed mobile phone which would make other handsets look down. We would hate to say one phone is better than the other but it’s clear that both the handsets will carry a huge win for Android.
