  1. I really dont see any difference between the Nexus and S11. Gingerbread vs Ice cream. Big deal. With S11 8 megapixel camera to Nexus 5 megapixel , and front camera of 2mg to 1.3mg, I will go for S11 any day.

  2. I think you’ll find the Nexus does not have an SD slot.

  3. @Brad
It’s wrong to say it’s the same screen as that on the Galaxy S. The technology used is the same but the pixel density is wayyyyyyyy higher and the resolution is much higher too. From what I’ve seen of the screen quality, it’s much better than anything out there, but I’d really like to see it in person…

  4. A correction on the screen. The screens used on the two devices are different. One is the Super AMOLED Plus and the other is the HD Super AMOLED. The later is the only one allowing for 720p HD resolution.

  5. The Samsung Galaxy S II has the Super AMOLED Plus display screen while the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has the Super AMOLED HD — NO PLUS. This means there are 3 subpixels in the Galaxy S II and 2 subpixels in the Nexus. This results in loss of details and sharpness, as well as a bluish/greenish tint around letters (depending on the background color). Effectively making the resolution only slightly better than the Galaxy S, but may be worse for colours.

I’m glad to have my Galaxy S II!
