Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 gets Bug Fix Update via OTA
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has released last month after much of speculations and several hide and seek rumours. We see a new update available on Galaxy Note 10.1 and as we see through the improvements included in it, it’s a minor update providing some bug fixes that the users have reported since its launch. The biggest of all these bugs was the compatibility problem of Galaxy Note 10.1 with 64 GV SDcards. There is no change in the version of Android or the base band version which remains the same.
Improvements & Enhancements
The following are the improvements and enhancements included in the update –
- Adds new features in S-Note application
- Palm Zoom issues in S- Note application is fixed
- The keyboard pop up bug is fixed
- Improved functionality of various apps
- 64 GB SD card will be now accepted without any issues on your tablet
The update file size is of total 75 MB and this is available via Over the Air update.
How to Update
Before you actually update your tablet you should ensure that you have taken a backup of your device. This is because if something goes wrong during the process of update, you can pull back to the backup that you have created. Simply and logically correct, take the backup of files, applications on your mobile phone. You should also ensure that you have more than 50 % battery life left on your device in order to ensure that you don’t run out of the battery in the middle of the update. Also ensure that you are connected
Once you are ready on your tablet go through Menu > Settings > About Tablet and then tap on Software Update. Under that take on to Update Now and your tablet will be connected to the Samsung Servers, once received the update pack message, you should tap on download. Once the file is downloaded, it would be automatically applied to your device and your tablet will be restarted automatically.
