Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Press Photo

Warm, textured touch backing and a beautiful design. The Note 3 is coming with a new S Pen, and a powerful multitasking. There’s Android 4.3 under the hood in the Note 3. Coming to the actual details about the device, the Galaxy Note 3 comes with the faux leather back, and it’s a 5.7-inch screen and the device weighs 168g, making it still lighter than the Note II, although there’s no much change in the thickness.

The 5.7-inch screen has got a full HD Super-AMOLED display, with the 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It comes with a new multi-window, where you can work on two apps at the same time. There’s 3GB of RAM, so you are finally getting to use a laptop (not literally!) in your hands.

Black, White and Blush Pink are the colors in which the Galaxy Note 3 is coming. But the back cover is coming in 9 colors – Metallic Luster, Mocha Gray, Mint Blue, Jet Black, Classic White, Oatmeal Beige, Blush Pink and Mustard Yellow.

The S View Cover in the Note 3 is a bit different from that in the earlier versions, where you can have a larger area to use the S Pen directly with the cover not lifted.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Camera

The 13-megapixel camera on the Galaxy Note 3 comes with a 1080p video recording at 60 fps, and there’s a 4k video recording. It comes with the higher-powered LED flash.

  • Action Memo: It links the memos to actions. Scribble a phone number, and you can directly save it for a contact
  • Scrapbook: Simply draw a circle around the content you want to save, and then you can save it to a category of your choice.
  • S Finder: This one lets you search for the items in the entire device using some keywords
  • Pen Window: Just select the text, and if you wanted to add the various numbers mentioned, open the calculator for the selected text and it adds up
  • Multi-window, as mentioned above

The new S Note comes with a far intuitive interface, and the organizing in it is much easier where the objects can be streamlessly moved. The notes can be shared to the different devices, and the syncing can be done with the PCs. It syncs with Evernote, and the premium Evernote would be available for the Note 3 users for a year for all the syncing.

Multi Vision Feature

The multivision feature is what takes the Group Play to the next level, where you can now add up the screens and not just the music. Add 2 or more Note 3 devices and it would divide the content and show it together when the Note 3s are placed side by side.

Availability of the Galaxy Note 3

The Galaxy Note 3 would make you wait for 3 more weeks, as the device would be officially available on September 25th, 2013, while in the US you will have to wait till October when it would be available through all the major carriers. IFA Berlin is where Samsung is going to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and the date for that would be September 4th, where Samsung’s major focus would be this phablet which is rumored to have around 6-inch touchscreen. The event in Berlin is where Samsung had earlier launched the two versions of the Galaxy Note in the previous 2 years, so that should be the apt place and timing for them, a couple months after they launched the flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S4.

As with the new rumors, we have got to know the following which can excite anyone to upgrade to this latest Note device:

  • Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor
  • 1080p Full HD display
  • 13MP back-facing camera

Along with that, there are a lot of expected changes to be made by Samsung on the interface, and the Note is always more at the productive end with the S Pen providing some unique advantages over the Galaxy devices.

With the talks of Note 3 picking up, we also get to hear about the Samsung smartwatch, which can be called the Samsung Gear and get launched as an accessory to the smartphone at the same time.

Samsung GALAXY Note 2 smartphone’s successor is here, though in leaks this all new successor is slated to be announced in the first half of 2013. Though there is no official word on this all new Galaxy Note N7200 smart device, it’s rumored to come up with the larger 6.3 inches of screen size along with other smartphones which are not known yet. Though some of the leaks iterate that this Galaxy Note III N7200 smart device is slated to be showcased in the Mobile World Congress 2013 which is to be held in Barcelona later in February 2013. So, finally the gap between 5.5 and 7 inched device will be bisected by this Samsung GALAXY Note 2 smartphone.

While some of the analytics say that it will be difficult for Samsung to come up with either Galaxy S4 or with the Galaxy Note 3 of which the rumors have just started to pick up. As per the sources, it’s been confirmed that Samsung has raised an order in a very large number of Super AMOLED 2 PLUS which is something new from the earlier range of Displays along with the Gorilla Glass 3. So, from this it is at least clear that still the flexible display thing is a distant dream.

With the arrival of Apple iPhone 5 and Apple iPad mini, Apple is expected to come up with its new iPhone 5S very shortly which should be there in around Feb – March 2013, not in either CES or MWC though, it now seems like in 2013, the battle between Samsung and Apple will turn more stiffer than ever. We will keep you posted as in when we get the details of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N7200 device tight on AndroidAdvices.

    Dear All,
In in the cyclone of Samsung,Motrolla Gone,Nokia Gone,Blackberry Gone,Htc Gone,Sony Ericsson gone(Now arrising as sony brand with the help of customized android version what samsung do) now the countdown is started for Iphone, sooner or latter “the end” is coming soon if Iphone is not adapt the coming situtation, and their new move is showing that they are trying to do so by launching Iphone 5s and 5c(Iphone 5copied of Lumia Phone).
Still i wish that all these brands comeback with new innovation and technology, what iphone do with fingerprint sensor in Iphone5s and added slow motion capture and play technology in camera option.Because monopoly of any brand limit the innovation and invention.

      September 16, 2013 at 12:23 pm

Ravi, in my view there’s no monopoly from any brand. Where you see a mass from Samsung, you see a class from Apple and that’s going to stay the same. Samsung devices are criticized a lot for the design but still the same people in the end purchase a Samsung device, because they are assured of a lot other things, including a good after-sale service. When you purchase a smartphone, it’s not just the features you look into. Innovation has been there from every brand, but the practicality is where not each of them succeed. Motorola was the first one to bring the fingerprint sensor, but it didn’t work out well. Apple made that better and now let’s see how good the Touch ID would be.

There isn’t any leaks..All Manufactures purposefully revealing their new model as Leaks….

Try to concentrate yourself and make up your mind. Either it is a leak or it is not a leak. Whether it is deliberate or not is not the least relevant. A deliberate leak is still a leak.

Who said that you cannot get updates for your Android phone?? I have a Galaxy S and I recently updated the software to the latest. I can easily change the battery, add memory cards and get a whole lot better battery life compared to those expensive and heavy iphones….And I paid less than half of what you pay for an iphone… so please stop promoting iphone on an Android only webpage…it is useless, and stupid…

Every android phone can b used fa a maximum of a year or less..becoz they loose d support from d manufacturer..some Apps cant b installed on dem & most of d apps lag pretty much and you wont get updates…On d other hand apple provides d best consumer support as with updates n new features even iphone 3gs gettin updates upto some ios 6.x which is a good thing ..and even new app too dnt lag in iphone 3gs ..only reliable manufacturer n android is google’s Motorola nd sum nexuses but they have many shortcomings…… if u wanna spend ur hard earned cash go for an Iphone…or if u wanna change ur mobile frequently then its d android

Droid your comment is the biggest piece of nonsense I have read in a long time. I had the 3gs and then the 4. They were heavy small and battery life was very disappointing and I was very limited by Apple with phone versatility. I have friends with the Samsung Galaxy S which BTW is a lot older than a year who are running Jelly Bean 4.2.2. When you buy a phone through Vodafone you get 2 year manufacturer warranty which is more than I got from Apple! Now you might be an Apple fanboy but that does not excuse you for writing absolute lies. Oh yeah and as for Motorola…the first release from Moto in 3 years has only just come out…they are not even in the game. The bottom line is “if you wanna WASTE hard earned cash, go for an iPhone…if you wanna be at the cutting edge of technology then get an Android! ” The truth is out there just open your eye’s!

Iphone is the best in their field that is the only competanecia yourself with the different versions of iphones. Android is a system that has a lot of competition as several companies use this to their mobile devices. Windows Phone in this system so far there are few powers and the main brand is Nokia. In my point of view it is a mistake to compare the companies that manufacture mobile devices, since each one is focused on some public sector. It should compare android with android, Windows Phone with the Windows Phone and not argue about who has the best terminal. I have an IPhone and S3 and the two I like because each gives me what I need.

Apple is apple. No one can topple it from slot 1. If u have used it u will appreciate it. The hardware , the software design and feel are the best in the world. That is why it is still preferred by the users. You pay the price u get the quality of product.

I used Apple for 3 years…iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S and NO! I will NEVER go back to Apple. The phones by companies like Samsung, SONY, HTC are all way better concepts and are faster and smoother to use. So your point about using an iPhone and paying more for one and being happy to pay more is so so SO way off the mark. Use an android phone…experience ALL the extras that Apple don’t let you experience… Instead of just knocking because it is what you are told about these phones, try one! Use a phone that truly is a SMARTphone.

Somepolite suggestions. 1. Please do not use such poor English in most of your posts. IT is quite disappointing . Please ask somebody else to write your posts if your own English cannot be improved. 2. Please do not post matter before editing them. In this post you have written that “Though some of the leaks iterate that this Galaxy Note III N7200 smart device is slated to be showcased in the Mobile World Congress 2013 which is to be held in Barcelona later in February 2013.” It is already Apr 2013. What are you trying to say here ? Are you saying that N7200 will be showcased in Feb 2014 ? Then why come out with such a premature incomplete post ? 3. If you want to maintain respectability and loyal fans please do take pains to reply to certain posts. I see that my previous ( and they were not sarcastic) and many other genuine readers comments and questions are not answered here. Just some suggestions to improve your post. Apologize for a touch of sarcasm here.

April 29…I just this morning received my new Galaxy S4 and so far…I have never had a phone anything like it! It is very slick, very fast, very powerful, very thin and is only a couple of mm bigger than my old Galaxy Nexus.

With the way SAMSUNG are increasing screen size without effecting phone size, too dramatically, I think we all will be quite surprised at how portable the Note 3 will be…

I agree that size and convenience is important, however for the record…

I bought the original 7inch Galaxy Tab on release and it just fitted into my suit and slacks side pockets… I needed the extra display size. Any bigger and I would not have invested in the Galaxy Tab, however it did fit and I used a JawBone ear-piece.

I replaced the Galaxy Tab with a NOTE-1 and I’m delighted with the performance on the Telstra network. I hope the NOTE-3 stays under 6inches, however it will still be smaller and lighter than the Galaxy Tab, which I was able to work with.

I think the differentiator would be: can the device fit comfortably into the pockets of your nomal clothes? If the answer is “no”, then it may be better to buy a 7-inch device. Has Samsung not understood that this criterion ensured the success of the 5.3 and 5.5 inch Notes? That these are both all-in-one devices that fit in your pocket? No need for a bag or jacket to carry them?

Samsung can introduce just about any configuration of a mobile phone. Apple can not their not a true manufacturer of any hardware. Samsung can introduce a big galaxy note 3 with little development cost and if it fails so what.
The point is Apple is finished in the long run.
