The Samsung Galaxy S5 that was priced at Rs. 51,500 originally on the official Samsung e-store can be brought for Rs. 46,400 via e-commerce sites like Flipkart and Snapdeal. However only the white model is available for the cutoff price and the Black variant of the this flagship is been priced at Rs. 49,999 on Flipkart and Snapdeal is offering it for Rs. 50,399 along with the Blue variant that is available for Rs. 51,099.

We have seen that the HTC One (M8) is priced at Rs. 49,990 and will be released in the first week of May. This offering of the Galaxy S5 from Flipkart and Snapdeal might be because of lack of sale of the White model or the pricing of HTC’s flagship can also be another reason.

Samsung is unveiling its latest flagship model, the Samsung Galaxy S5 in India on March 27th and will start the sale from April 11th as it was noted earlier, in 150 countries that include India. In the even the company might announce the pricing of this device.

The latest flagship was launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 held in Barcelona last month and is expected to come at a lesser price than its predecessor Galaxy S4. The latest flagship from the South Korean Smart phone maker is the Samsung Galaxy S5, the company announced that the device will be available from April 11th and it was unveiled at the MWC 2014 in its unpack 5 event. This Samsung Galaxy S5 is available for Rs. 45,000 in India as a online retailer Saholic that promised that the device will be delivered on March 8th or else there will be a price deduction of Rs. 50 every day!

The device is priced at Rs. 45,500 which is understandable, considering its specifications and it is also the latest flagship from the company. The predecessor of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is priced around Rs. 29,000 and even this Samsung Galaxy S4 was priced over Rs. 40,000 when it was launched. More over the online retailer has also placed a specifications sheet of the Galaxy S5.

According to them, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be featuring a 5.1 inch full HD display and will be powered by a 2.5 GHz quad core processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The device will be running on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat Operating system and has 16 GB and 32 GB variants that can be further extended with micro SD card. The battery on it is at 2800 mAh to power the device. The Galaxy S5 is IP67 certified and sports a finger print sensor and heart rate sensor.
