The latest flagship from Samsung has unveiled at the MWC 2014, and we have seen some new features in the Samsung Galaxy S5 like the Heart rate sensor and Finger scanner but made us little disappointed with its design that is similar to its predecessor Samsung Galaxy S4, where we expected it to come with a faux leather. Since the device is unveiled now, many of us will be excited to get our hands on this flagship, but we should also know when this device will be available and where it will be available also.
AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and MetroPCS have given their official word on the availability of this device on their network in the month of April. We did not have any word from the major carrier Verizon but we can expect a word from it also pretty soon. Samsung has stated that the device will be available from April in its keynote, so we can expect this device on that day. The company also reveled that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be released in over 150 countries, starting from April 11th this year.
We have also got the list of carriers that has confirmed the availability of the Samsung Galaxy S5 but we have not confirm the exact date of the release and the pricing of the device will vary according to the carrier, but for not the official pricing from Samsung is also not given. Here is the list of carries that are confirmed and list of those carries that are waiting for conformation also.
Confirmation in Pending:
- U.S. Cellular
This is the retailers list on which the device will be available
- Best Buy
- Sam’s Club
As we know the pricing of the device will vary according to the carriers and type of contract signed, but we can assume it could be somewhere around $200 with 2 years contract in the US, considering it predecessor S4’s pricing. But again we could be wrong, so we need to wait for the official wording from Samsung on the pricing and availability of the device, until then stay tuned with us as we are bringing live updates from the MWC 2014.
