This update will be pushed via KIES very soon but as a privilege of Android ADVICES reader, you can now apply this update directly without you needing to wait to update the phone from the KIES Samsung Official tool. We personally recommend you to apply this Gingerbread 2.3.6 update right away as we understand that most of the users might be on the beta versions of the firmware for which KIES is not supported. The only way to update is by following this article. This all new Official Gingerbread 2.3.6 update for Galaxy SL I9003 is dubbed as DDKPI.   3. Is it safe to upgrade the frimware on samsung galaxy s i9003..and is there any chance that anything can go wrong..
