How to Update

So you are ready to deliver this new updates to your device, the first thing you should do is to backup data present on your tablet internal memory as it will be wiped out during this update. Once you are done, you can update your device by the following methods –

Via OTA Update

To update via Over the Air, you should connect your device to a Wi Fi and then on your device drive through the path Menu > Settings > About Tablet > System Updates and then tap on Check Now. You will be connected to the Samsung servers for reply and a pop will appear. Tap on Download on it and further when downloaded, you need to tap on Install Now to apply the updates.

Via Samsung KIES

If you have no availability of free Wi Fi network, you can update Galaxy Tab 750 using the Samsung KIES PC suite as well but this will also need an internet connection on your device as well. To do that you should connect your tablet using the USB cable and open Samsung KIES. Samsung KIES will automatically notify you about the update and you just need to follow the onscreen instructions to apply the updates which are available. If you are following this method of update you should be sure to backup your data using Samsung KIES as well which can be easily restored after the update with one click.

I am facing a strange problem after updating to ICS i.e. the clock no seems to be running slow. It slows down by about 30 minutes in a day. I logged a complaint with Samsung and shockingly they gave me a call and said ICS update has not been officially released for India. According to them the latest version for tab 750 in India is Honeycomb 3.2 only and I need to take my tab to a service center for getting it downgraded back. I called the service center and they also confirmed ICS 4.0.4 is not released for p7500 according to them also.

I get this error message and the Tab is not detecting the Sim Card. Wi-Fi works fine. The Sim card is detected if it is removed and reinserted.
