The way Samsung releases other phone models that look like SGS3 will make buyers like myself to think again about buying another Samsung phone. I believe that among the benchmarks when people buy phone is the dissimilarity of variant models of the same brand. There should be distinctive external features among same brand variant models. What’s the point of buying more expensive phone when look-alike models of the same brand are sold cheaper? It’s also about looks or distinctive external appearance – just survey your fan base. Well, if the manufacturers prefer to capture the budget market, which is very democratic enough to allow most people to afford to buy branded phones (like Cherry Mobiles in the Philippines), then they (manufacturers) might as well scrap the production of high-end but expensive models that have cheaper (or, should I say, reasonably priced) look-alike variants all over. Just a thought.
