Samsung has announced a new health tracking wearable called the Gear Fit alongside the Gear 2 and Gear Neo. This Samsung Gear Fit will track you heart rate and count your steps also with a wider and many more improved functions, and that would get the functionality and syncing with the Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone.
The Samsung Gear Fit has a rectangular curved AMOLED touch screen panel unlike the rectangular screens we have seen on other wearable devices. This curve display allows the users to use a lager screen giving a better view and easier handling. The device also sits perfectly on your wrist and making it easier to wear when even and where ever you go without much difficulty. We have seen other curved devices from Samsung earlier but this device is going to be more useful than those.
Unlike the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo, Samsung Gear Fit does not have a microphone, speaker or even a camera but can alert you with all the notifications from your smart phone, making it a smart fitness tracker we have seen till now. The Fit is mainly targeted on fitness of the users and it includes a real time fitness coach to help the user to know their fitness regime and alerts them to speed up or slow down. All these data will be measured in real time and the heart rate results will be synched with Samsung’s S Health app that can be found on Galaxy Smart phones. This will bring all new levels to the Fit, because of its curved AMOLED display that is large enough to operate easily by anyone who uses it.
