  1. Hi!
I woke up this morning to the fun little notification telling me it was time for an update.
I downloaded it, and I have to be honest- I really like it.
Some of the most simple little changes makes a big difference.
I don’t see a TON of additions, but some include a totally revamped notification bar, some new icons, simple changes to the “looks” and layout of the device, and some new functions (download manager, mainly).
I also noticed right off the bat that my battery life was a TON better, and the phone seemed to run much faster- without any lag.
Personally, I would like to see an on-screen portrait keyboard. I don’t know why, but it would just be nice. Sometimes it’s nice to text on the screen! But, I’m not complaining.
Overall a very nice update! Hope there will be more to come!
    :]

  2. Got the update manually from someone who was able to pull it from their phone. Haven’t been able to reroot it; if anyone figures out a way, please come to the forum below and post a thread:

  3. Got the OTA update to gingerberad 2.3.6 last night and I was rooted. The update worked fine. The only drawback is I lost my root access, and all known root methods for this phone no longer work. Anyone have any luck rooting post GB update, and if so, how>
