The electronics giant, Samsung had come up with its Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and the curvy Gear Fit wearable fitness bands at the MWC 2014 that was held in Barcelona, Spain two weeks earlier. These fitness bands will definitely be costly, with the pricing expected to be around $200 or more. Since these are very high in price, there shouldn’t be a surprise if a few cheaper versions of wearable bands or fitness bands are coming up and Samsung is exactly working on it.
There was a filing with the FCC (Federal Communication Commission) for a new gadget called as S-Circle that will be coming with Bluetooth support for connecting to the Smart phones as is also labeled in the document as an activity tracker according to Engadget. We know that Samsung has the been coming with new products through the year and bring different variants targeting all kind of customers, from high to low, so we might see this activity tracker to come in much lower price.
This S-Circle might also work with the S Health 3.0 app that we have seen in many of the company’s new Smart phones and Engadget also pointed out that this device might come with new features like the heart rate monitor that we have seen on the company’s latest flagship Galaxy S5 and also on the Gear Fit along with new Smart watches.
Samsung is concentrating more on the fitness wearable these days since everyone is getting health conscious these days with the busy working days they don’t have the time to track their health. This will be coming out as good news to all the customers, who are planning to get a tracker of their health. We are sure how the display of the device comes out since we have seen the curved display on the Gear Fit, we might expect on this device also.
Earlier we have seen the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit price getting revealed and as we know Gear Fit is compatible with 17 devices that we have listed in our earlier post. The Gear Fit is a look out for this season as it will be launched along with the Samsung Galaxy S5 (on April 11th) that has a Curved Super AMOLED display giving the user a curvy large display for better handling and view. This is also IP67 certified for water and dust resistant.
The S-Circle was not showcased at the MWC 2014, we don’t know what the reason might be, but we can expect it to come in to the market pretty soon and will be seeing its specifications pop up in the coming months. So are you waiting for this device to be unveiled? Will this come in an affordable price? Well we have to wait and see. Stay tuned for more information and updates and do comment for more queries.
