- First of all you need to download this CM-7.0.0-Spica-a1_update.zip on your computer as it’s of size around 76MB.
- Next up, after downloading this file on your computer, you need to copy this downloaded file into your Android device’s SD Card by connecting your device to the computer via USB cable and please note that you should not extract the downloaded file.
- Next, after that, you need to turn off your Spica and need to start your Spica in the recovery mode. You can turn on your device in the recovery mode by pressing the VOLUME DOWN key, CALL button and End call button together while you device is in the power off mode till your device boots in the Recovery mode.
- As soon as the recovery mode is shown on the screen, you need to select Apply ZIP from SD Card and need to Wipe Data and Cache for flashing the CM7 Android 2.3 build on your Samsung Spica i5700.
It will take few seconds to apply the update for your device, after completion of the update you can see that your Samsung Spica i5700 is running on the latest Android 2.3 GINGERBREAD version.
