Samsung Spica i5700 – Steps to Install Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS

  • As soon as the recovery mode is shown on the screen, you need to select Apply ZIP from SD Card and need to Wipe Data and Cache for flashing the CM7 Android 2.3 build on your Samsung Spica i5700.

It will take few seconds to apply the update for your device, after completion of the update you can see that your Samsung Spica i5700 is running on the latest Android 2.3 GINGERBREAD version.

  1. i downloaded the CM-7.0.0 and when i press and hold down volume, call hey and end key, it doesnt take me to recovery mode.. it just boots up as normal.

  7. How much time it takes? I`m after 1`st reboot and see animated cyanogen logo since 5-10 minutes.

    • It doesn`t work with my Spica. My device can`t start with this mod, but all works fine with CM 6.1.1

    I have a problem when I go into recovery mode can not be to select Apply from ZIP SD Card no Wipe Data and Cache and. Anything I can to select the recovery mode. Please Help.

    • @Ljubinkovic you are currently on which version? installed ROM MANAGER? or CLOCKWORKMOD RECOVERY?
