A day back, AT & T has announced the Galaxy S II variant of it with 1.5 GHz processor and 4.5 inches Super AMOLED Plus display screen. Moreover AT & T will provide 4G LTE speed to its Galaxy S II variant named as Galaxy S II Skyrocket. Well that was the news from United States and moving back to Korea, the home of Samsung Electronics, we have an announcement from the President of JK Shin that new variant like Galaxy S II LTE and Galaxy S II HD both will be available in Korea. The device would be the first LTE smartphone in the Korean market by Samsung.
With that Samsung combines the available 4G LTE speed on its bestselling mobile phone and the response from the users is expected on high. JK Shin also said that Samsung will launch more LTE smart devices in the near future in the domestic market so that they always lead in that segment, which is going to be the future.
Samsung Galaxy S II LTE
Galaxy S II LTE will be the first model from Samsung Electronics in the Korean market with LTE technology capabilities which will take the cutting edge in smartphones.
This variant of Galaxy S II will add the 4G LTE support, 1.5 Ghz dual core processor & 4.5 inches WVGA SuperAMOLED Plus display screen only and other things remains same with Android 2.3 platform, 8 mega pixel camera, Wi-Fi direct and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. The Galaxy S II LTE will support the LTE transmission which is faster than the 3G network and allows you to download 500 MB file within a minute.
The phone also makes some improvements with large battery capacity at 1850 mAh, Bluetooth 3.0 and embedded 16 GB memory.

Samsung Galaxy S II HD
With Galaxy S II HD, the mobile HD arrives as Galaxy S II Korean variant will have the Super AMOLED HD display as which is seen in the Galaxy Nexus phone. This would be the second mobile phone with Super AMOLED HD display capabilities from Samsung. With HD you get a maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 from the normal one at 800 x 480 pixels and improved pixels per inch at 316 ppi which results in the substantial improvements in readability and overall image display.
The Galaxy S II HD will also have the 4G LTE capabilities so that you can enjoy high-resolution video call, VOD services and network games at a vivid quality. It would be like a ‘HD theater in your hand’ with larger screen set at 4.65 inches higher than the normal Galaxy S II specifications.
Coming to Korea network support, it will include multiple modes like LTE & HSPA + from SKT and KT network, Rev A from LGU + and WCDMA/GSM which provides ultra-fast speed for wireless internet. This phone also includes a larger battery capacity with 1850 mAh, comes with Near Field Communication technology and Wi-Fi direct feature along with retained 8 mega pixel camera, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n support, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS.
