How to Set Dynamic, Standard and Movie Mode on Android Tablets

The basic difference across the modes is that the contrasts as well as the brightness levels are changed and hence there is a variable and significant changes across the three modes which are Dynamic, STANDARD AND Movie Mode.

All these settings are optimized to deliver better overall features and better overall visual appearance in accordance with the needs in different viewing environments. The three modes are just perfect to enhance the viewing experience like in the dull or dim light mode you can choose the Movie Mode, in the day light you can choose the Dynamic mode for better visual appeal and the standard mode can be selected when there is medium day light.

So, let’s check out in this article on how you can set this on your tablet very easily just with the help of a short 1-2-3 tutorial which is mentioned below. Please note that this mode selection option is only available in the Honeycomb powered tablets and not in the normal Gingerbread powered smartphones.

Procedure to Set Dynamic, Standard and Movie Mode on Android Tablets:

  • First up you will have to go to the “Settings” and after which you just need to tap on the “Screen” option as you can see in the below screen shot. Once you tap on the same, you will see that on the right hand side, you will see many Screen options like Brightness, Screen display, Mode, Auto – Rotate Screen, Animation, Timeout, Auto adjust Screen power and also the option called the horizontal Calibration.

  • Out of the numerous options, all you need to tap on is the option called “Mode” after which next up you will see that there are different modes which are Dynamic, Standard and Movie as you can even see the same in the below screen shot.

  • Now, just choose the appropriate Mode out of these three as you can see in the above image and you are all there with that mode. So, in this way you can optimize the viewing experience on your tablet for an enhanced viewing experience.

    These steps just work for TouchWiz on Samsung Galaxy Tab. I do not see many of the Screen options listed in this article on Asus Eee Pad under Settings -> Screen.
