Sony Tablet S WiFi Launched in India – Price & Specs

When Samsung, Apple have their tablets they why should Sony lags back. Sony with optimally designed S tablet debuts in India finally and it comes in the latest Honeycomb 3.2 version.

As of now the 16 GB Wi-Fi version of it is available and they didn’t provide much information on the 3G version of it. With 9.4 inches TruBlack display its easy to carry on your hands. It comes pre installed with games for PlayStation and the capabilities to use it as a universal remote control. The device is powered with Nvidia Tegra 2 1 Ghz processor and includes 1 GB of RAM. With capabilities of Wi-Fi and DLNA sharing this tablet is worth to be connected with networked devices.

Sony has also revealed the price of their S tablet to bring it to the Indian market. Its priced at Rs 29,990 and available for purchase at selected Sony stores across the country. This tablet pack includes Cradle, carrying case, Bluetooth keyboard & USB adapter cable. It offers 8 hoursof battery backup and video playback time of up to 6 hours and battery charges within 5 hours. Device weights about 600 grams.

Since Samsung Galaxy Tab with 3G is available at Rs 32,000 and Apple iPad 2 with 3G makes it better devices than Sony S tablet.
