Update: Sony launched the Xperia Z3+ globally, and this is actually the same device that was launched as the Xperia Z4 in Japan. From the external view, there are no much differences between the Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z3, except the flapless microUSB port. The device has the thickness of 6.9mm while the Xperia Z3 has the thickness of 7.3mm, and it is even lighter than Xperia Z3.

The latest flagship from Sony, the Xperia Z4 was launched on 20 April in Japan. According to the latest reports, the Sony will bring the Xperia Z4 outside Japan as the Xperia Z3+ in the International Markets. Xperia Z3+ is expected to be made available by May in the global markets. This information comes from the Sony SCR30 Style Cover Window accessory description which mentions support for “Xperia Z4/Z3+”.
The specs of the Xperia Z4 include 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of RAM, a battery of 2930mAh capacity and internal storage of 32GB along with microSD card support up to 128GB. The device has a 5.2-inch display with Full-HD (1080×1920 resolution).
The smartphone has the same 20.7MP Autofocus rear camera with LED flash found on Xperia Z3, but with an increased 5.1MP front-facing camera. As all the Sony flagships, Xperia Z4 also comes with waterproof and dustproof certification. It will be available in the colours White, Black, Copper, and Aqua Green. The device weighs 144g and measures 146 x 72 x 6.9 (mm).
