The mid range smart phones from Sony Mobile announced very recently and available in various countries is now reached the Australian continent. As rumours turns out to be true, Xperia P and Xperia U the recent smart phones in the NXT series by Sony are available via Telstra and Crazy John’s respectively.Sony Xperia U and Xperia P

Xperia P would be soon launched on Telstra in Australia territory and it would be offered to the consumers for a price of $ 49 per month and would be available for the unlocked version at $ 449 exclusively for the unlocked device at Dick Smith’s and Sony Centre stores. Interestingly we have the news that Xperia U would be also released in Australia and it will be available via Crazy John’s with a monthly plan of $ 15. The unlocked Xperia U will cost you $ 299.

Both Xperia P and Xperia U just like Xperia S runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system but Sony has promised that they would release the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pretty soon and we expect it to arrive just after the sales of device starts in Australia. For many countries Xperia P and Xperia U are been sold. Quickly going through the specifications of Xperia P and Xperia U, Xperia P will be with 4 inches LED backlit LCD display screen debuting with dual core 1 Ghz Cortex A9 processor along with Mali 400 MP whereas Xperia U would be with 3.5 inches TFT touchscreen display along with 1 Ghz dual core processor. Xperia P would be with 8 mega pixel camera and Xperia U would be with 5 mega pixel camera.
