The mid range smart phones from Sony Mobile announced very recently and available in various countries is now reached the Australian continent. Xperia P would be soon launched on Telstra in Australia territory and it would be offered to the consumers for a price of $ 49 per month and would be available for the unlocked version at $ 449 exclusively for the unlocked device at Dick Smith’s and Sony Centre stores. Interestingly we have the news that Xperia U would be also released in Australia and it will be available via Crazy John’s with a monthly plan of $ 15. The unlocked Xperia U will cost you $ 299.

Both Xperia P and Xperia U just like Xperia S runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system but Sony has promised that they would release the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pretty soon and we expect it to arrive just after the sales of device starts in Australia.
