Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Premium Launched in India – Pricing and Specs

Sony has launched its flagship devices called as the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium for Rs. 52,990 and Rs. 62,990 respectively. All know that Sony is well known for making camera centric devices and these are no different. Every year Sony launches the compact variant along with the flagship device, but this time it decided to do something different.

DXOmark rated the camera on Sony Xperia Z5’s camera is number one in the terms of camera. The company claims that the battery on the device will last 2 days and there is also the quick charging feature, wherein the device will charge up to 5.5 hours in 10 minutes. Xperia Z5 has a 5.2 inch FHD TRILUMINOS display and is powered with a 2903mAh battery. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor, coupled with 3 GB RAM. The on-board memory of the device is at 32 GB that can be extended via microSD card slot. These devices will be available exclusively via Flipkart and will also be available offline across India.

Xperia Z5 comes with a 4K display, making it the world’s 1st smartphone to come with that sought of resolution. These devices will flaunt a 23 MP camera on the rear and a 5 MP camera on the front and will run Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, which are sure to receive the latest Marshmallow update very soon.

As all the Z series devices, even these devices are waterproof and dust proof. We have seen most of the big company’s releasing two different variants of their flagship device as it was the case with Apple as well as Google with its Nexus devices.
