Spice Stellar 520n with 5-inch HD display launched for Rs. 6999 – Specs & Details

Indian smartphone manufacturer Spice Mobiles has launched a new smartphone Spice Stellar MI 520n exclusively on Amazon today. Spice was one of the three Google Android One launch partners in India when they released the Spice Dream Uno.

Spice Stellar MI 520n comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display. The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor. The new smartphone is 3G enabled and runs on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

On camera front, the Stellar 520n comes packed with an 8 megapixel AF rear camera with Autofocus and a 2 MP front-facing camera. The phone is equipped with a 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM (expandable up to 32 GB through a micro SD card). It comes with 2000 mAh battery, offering a standby time of about 200 hours and a talk time of 4 hours. Applications such as Whatsapp and Opera are pre-embedded in the Spice Stellar 520n.

Last month, Spice had launched Spice MI-549, iPhone 6 like smartphone. With 5.5 inches of screen size, Mi-549 from Spice come with the 1080p Full HD screen powered with the 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory along with the expandable slot of up to 32GB. Sporting the 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED Flash for 1080p Full HD video recording, this device also come with the 2MP of front facing camera. Along with the FM Radio, 3.5mm headset audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, aGPS and 3G capabilities, this device also comes with the 2200mAH of battery power.

Last month, Spice’s CEO Prashant Bindal had said that they are planning to provide Lollipop in our Android One devices around January 2015, and the update will be available for all Dream Uno users in India. The update may come even sooner as an unnamed source inside Google reportedly told India Today that it could land as early as mid-December.

Spice Stellar MI 520n is priced at Rs. 6,999 and exclusively available for sale on Amazon. The Stellar is available in red, yellow and white colour.
