Sprint HTC EVO 3D gets Android 4.0 ICS OTA Upgrade

HTC EVO 3D was one among the HTC Phones qualified for the Android 4.0 ICS upgrade and the only 3D phones with Android ICS OS. HTC EVO 3D was in pipeline for the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade but it has been delayed much and finally this is available for the Sprint customers.Sprint  HTC EVO 3D

For those who owns Evo 3D on Sprint network in United States, they can check for the update available on their mobile phone via Over the Air update. To check, from your mobile phone you need to visit Settings > About Phone > Software and then tap on Check Now. While performing update you should make sure that you are connected to internet via the Wi Fi with a good downloading rate to provide a smoother upgrade process.

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to EVO 3D will be launched soon in the coming months and this will bring few more changes than the existing in the Android Ice Cream Sandwich. To check for the Android version you need to head to Menu > Settings and under About phone will let you know the device mobile number, Android version and the built version.
