Sprint is expected to provide ultra fast 4G services which is an improvement over their existing 3G services middle of this year in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. Earlier Sprint announced the availability of Galaxy Nexus the pure Google branded phone on their network with 4G capabilities. Apart from Galaxy Nexus, LG Viper is the second phone which will get the 4G capabilities on Sprint.
LG Viper is an eco friendly device built with recyclable material featuring a 4 inches WVGA touchscreen display and runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The phone features a 1.2 Ghz dual core processor and will have a Google Wallet on board. It has two camera namely 5 mega pixel rear camera and front facing VGA camera introduced with features like NFC and Google Wallet. As spotted, LG Viper is a less high-end device in some regards. Another advantage of using eco friendly feature in mobile is to include a charger with no load consumption rating of .03 W. It will have the Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA share and microSD card slot supporting 32 GB stroage. As its a Android powered phone it will have the access to Android Market for installing various apps and widgets.
Sprint also said that they will launch around 15 4G LTE enabled devices in 2012 including handsets, tablets and data cards. Additional details of the phone will be provided closer to the availability and launch.
