Many users have issues that they have limited internal memory due to which one can only install a handful of devices which now can be overcomed with the help of below mentioned tutorial as we will guide you on how you can convert external memory into the internal memory.

So, before we proceed let’s check out on what are the list of instructions you need to follow with the help of below mentioned steps

Quick Pre Requisites:

  • Create a backup of all your data with the help of below mentioned steps so as to make sure that all your data in your device in both internal as well as in external memory is safe and even if there is any data loss, the same can be restored with the help of below mentioned steps;

Note: Don’t create a backup of all your data with the help of ROM Manager as it may completely brick the device.

SMS – Use “SMS Backup & Restore app”,
Contacts – Sync with the Gmail application,
Call Log – Call Log and Restore
Images, Songs, Videos, Files – Copy to internal / External SD Card,
APN and MMS Settings – Note down from the path “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names

  • From the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”, enable the USB Debugging, ensure that the USB debugging option is ticked. Also, make sure that your device is left with the minimum of 50% so as to make sure that it doesn’t get turned off in the middle of the work around.

Procedure to Swap the Internal and External SD Cards on the Motorola RAZR I:

    Looks very interesting, but you have not put any information about where, or how, to get init.d, or how to root the device if this is a prerequisite of swapping the memory over. This could confuse new users, like me 😉
