How to transfer Contacts, SMS, Photos & Files from Android Phone to HTC Mobile

Earlier getting a new phone used to be exciting but the thought of transferring contacts, photos, videos etc stored on the device and not your SD card was enough to dampen your excitement, but after reading this post you will feel transferring data was never easier after buying a HTC Smartphone. Here we are going to show you how to transfer data from your Old Android device to your New HTC Smartphone:

  1. Install this app on your Old Smartphone: HTC Transfer Tool
  2. Make sure that the Smartphones are equipped with Android Gingerbread 2.3 or later
  3. Launch the App in the Old HTC device
  4. In the New HTC device go to Settings > Transfer Content > Click on the required option like “HTC android phone, Other Android phone, iPhone or Other. Select any one of the above depending on the type of OLD phone which you have.
  5. Launch the App in the Old phone and you will be getting a 4 digit PIN which will enable you to connect both the devices

  • New Phone: HTC Sense 5 or later

You can even transfer data faster than you could through your Bluetooth like Videos, Photos using this App, Brightness, Alerts and other settings are also transferred through this app  from your old device to new HTC Smartphone using the HTC transfer Tool.

    Nice solution, another solution in this regard is SmartIO which works on Wifi and supports all platforms like mentioned here : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smartio&hl=en
