Ulefone, the lesser known smartphone maker, has been launching some impressive devices to make a mark in the overcrowded smartphone market. The company has recently launched a smartphone for music lovers called as Ulefone Vienna. As teased earlier, the brand has now unveiled its flagship smartphone named as Ulefone Future in China. It is the first device from the company to feature a ‘No Border‘ display. The Ulefone Future is priced at $269.99 (approx Rs. 17,885) and is available for sale via various online retailers. Apart from the impressive display, the smartphone also comes with top-end specifications to make it a true flagship.
Coming to the specifications part, the Ulefone Future flaunts a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) LTPS full-HD truly bezel-less display with 401ppi as pixel density for stunning visual experience and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered by MediaTek MT6755 64-bit Helio P10 octa-core processor clocked at 1.95GHz clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It is the same processor used in the recently launched Gionee S8 smartphone. The smartphone features a hybrid sim slot that double’s up as the microSD card slot instead of the second sim.
It has 32GB of onboard storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 128GB. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based company’s customized UI out of the box. On the camera cordon, the smartphone sports a 16MP rear camera with Samsung sensor, PDAF for quick focus, f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper for video chats and crazy selfie lovers. Connectivity options on the handset include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, OTG and microUSB Type-C port for faster transfers.
The handset powers a 3000mAh battery that can last upto 200 hours of standby time and also supports quick charging with the provided 9V/2A charger. It looks premium with all-metal unibody design and also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that can unlock the device in just 0.1 seconds. Its dimensions measure 151.5 x 73.5 x 8.6 mm weighs around 185 grams and comes in Space Grey and Gold color options. The Ulefone Future with these impressive features looks powerful on paper and will be a good competitor for other smartphones in the same price range.
