How to Unlock HTC Sensation Android Phone – Easy Tutorial

Disclaimer: Please note that this process of firmware update is not recommended for the basic users and is only recommended for the advanced users. Also, we should not be held responsible for any damage happened to your device in any manner after applying this update.
We recommend you to back up all the data as we will be manually clearing all the data present in your device so as to get away from the force close errors. Please ensure that you don’t backup the data using the HTC Sync will not be detecting the device after unlocking.
SMS – Use “SMS Backup & Restore app”,
Contacts – Sync with the Gmail application,
Call Log - Call Log and Restore
Songs, Videos, Files – Copy to internal / External SD Card,
APN and MMS Settings – Note down from the path “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names”
- Minimum battery charge left in the phone should be at least 60% so as to ensure that the device doesn’t get turned Off in the middle of firmware update.
- Your device should be Sim Locked device and also it should be rooted so as to unlock the device with Clock Work mod recovery pre-installed in it.

The thing is, after you successfully unlock it, if you ever send your phone back to the factory settings,the phone still remains unlocked ? Or I have to unlock it again ?

Seems that my UE htc sesnstion is looked.
when entering boot state, got pink “loocked” indication at the top of the window.

I am going through the steps to unlock the HTC Sensation 4g Tmobile US. And I keep getting Security fail on the reload with the file on the sd card. I have unlocked the bootloader, and ran a cw backup. I am stuck at this point, and suggestions?
