Procedure to Update Galaxy Tab 2 P3310 with AOKP Build Custom ROM Firmware:
- Download the AOKP for Galaxy Tab 2 Package & Google Apps in your computer. Connect your device to the computer and place the AOKP build Package & Google Apps package in your Galaxy Tab. Disconnect the Galaxy Tab and turn Off the same so as to enter the device in the recovery mode.
- The recovery mode in Galaxy Tab 2 P3110 can be entered by pressing the Volume down rocker key + power button at the same time while the device is turned Off. If the device starts in the normal mode, you need to re try the process of the entering the device into the recovery mode.
- Select “install zip from sdcard” > “choose zip from sdcard” > select the AOKP for Galaxy Tab 2 Package which you have placed in your Tab 2 and then select the Google Apps. Select “Yes” to install the same.
- Once the device is installed with this firmware, all you need to do is to select “reboot system now” for starting your Tab 2 in the normal mode
Note: If your Tab 2 doesn’t boot up or gets into the boot loop sequence, then all you need to do is to just long press the power button to turn your device Off and again re follow the steps so as to update your Tab 2.
