Enhancements in Gingerbread 2.3.4:
- The first and foremost enhancement which this update provides is the better battery backup than the former release and apart from that you will also not face any issues related to force close errors which some of the users faced while playing HD games. For some who reported about non non compatibility of Flash 10.3 version, can now install the same as it now supports the same.
- The MMS messages are now sent correctly as there were issues while sending the same, earlier there was a bug wherein the customers were not able to send the MMS messages despite repeated attempts and correct settings.
- Earlier you would never able to play the audio files directly from the messages, but now this bug has been fixed and you can now play music directly even from the message,
- Sending the contacts was really a task previously as there was no facility wherein you could send the V Card directly from your contacts but now this feature comes embedded with this firmware update.
- Apart from the tethering, you can now make use of your internet connection with the help of the bluetooth which is the major enhancement when we talk of this feature. So, all in a nut shell you can now enjoy Internet connections via Bluetooth.
- Make use of the VZ Navigator which has now been enabled after applying this update and also along with this you can also now make use of the music widget which is included in this update, so to move to the next or previous song its very convenient way. You can place this widget anywhere in your home screen.
- Till now the camera used to only work if and only if the SD card was inserted, but now this has changed as you are not required to insert the SD Card to click pictures which too is a great enhancement in this update.
- Some of the users faced issues with their Market Place, it’s very sad that even now this fix exists but the only fix to this one is to install your phone with the latest version of Android Market Place which you can install in your phone from this link. The best part is that you get a whole new interface of the market place as you can see in the below image.
